Make sure you're on a news article page (not a homepage or search results page) and click the TruthLens icon in your browser toolbar, then click "Analyze This Page." The extension only activates when you click Analyze โ it does not run automatically.
Navigate to a specific user's profile page (e.g., x.com/username) โ not the home feed or search results. The Analyze button appears at the top of individual profile pages. If it doesn't appear, try refreshing the page.
Free users (anonymous) get 10 analyses per day per IP address. Creating a free account also gives you 10 analyses per day with more reliable tracking. Your limit resets at midnight UTC each day. For unlimited analyses, upgrade to TruthLens Pro.
TruthLens uses Claude AI to analyze language patterns. It identifies rhetorical techniques and linguistic bias indicators โ it does not fact-check claims or verify sources. It applies identical standards to all political orientations. Like any AI tool, it can make mistakes. Use it as one input among many when evaluating information.
TruthLens sends article text to our API for analysis. We do not store the content you analyze, track your browsing history, or sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Email support@truthlens.us with the URL of the page you analyzed and a description of what seemed inaccurate. We use this feedback to improve the system.
